Window Soul explores themes of grief, gardening, looking out and looking in. This body of work is a touchstone for the artist and writer, growing slowly over the years. Each plant is collected locally and photographed using the windows of the artists own home as giant performative lightboxes. The weather of the season is seen in the background, each moment ephemeral and unique.  This book looks at the detail of the seasons, with poetry that holds each moment and examines how the heart and head are also in flux throughout the year, the weather, the context always in view. Rich images show the fragility and layers at play, and each poem un-peels another layer of the poets experience of the world, exploring gratitude and grief in equal measure.
